As faculty at the Center for Physicians Health, I work with a team to provide transformational learning for doctors. Doctors are referred by their state licensing boards, hospitals, professional groups, or sometimes simply by themselves. They are frustrated with the changes in medicine and often have received complaints about their behavior.
At the Center for Physicians Health, we train physicians in more skillful professional communication, problem-solving and leadership skills. Many talented doctors simply were never trained in these interpersonal skills which form the basis for competent professional behavior in the workplace.
I’ve worked with lawyers in my therapy practice over the years and lectured at Vanderbilt Law School, the Nashville School of Law, and the Tennessee Bar Association. I welcome lawyers seeking coaching or therapy to improve their effectiveness.
